Hello, friend!
How are you doing?
I have some great news this week! After seeing my chiropractor twice a week for the past two weeks, I can (finally) say I am on the mend! My knee is healing nicely and my shoulder/neck is coming along. When I saw my chiropractor yesterday, he was impressed with the movement he got while adjusting me. I can definitely tell a difference.
Initially I was frustrated with the slow healing process from this fall. My Dad helped me reframe this. Healing takes time. This is true for many, many things. Trauma, grief, and building a business are three things that come to mind.
I have a coach for which I am so very grateful! She has helped me with healing and some grief and recently, some long-forgotten trauma. I feel like our work on these two things are helping me to move forward in building the coaching business I have dreamed of for many years.
Working with my coach has helped me identify my ideal client. Most business owners say they will work with anyone who needs XX. What’s fascinating to me about this is the Pareto Principle, aka the 80/20 rule. If a business owner is willing to work with anyone, it is likely that eighty percent of their “problems” will come from twenty percent of their clients.
As a business owner, where would you rather be spending your time – with your clients who seem to have perpetual issues OR finding more of your ideal clients?
Personally, I’d rather spend my time with the clients who do the work to get the results they want, regardless of how difficult the work might be. They have hired me to help them reach their goal through accountability and support.
Are you ready to take your business or life to the next level? What if a coach is exactly what you needed to do just that? Would you invest in yourself to finally realize your dreams? That investment is worth every penny, if you are willing to do the work.
Tip of the week for business owners:
Connect Before You Sell
People buy from those they know, like, and trust. Use social media, newsletters, or video content to build relationships before pitching a product or service. Selling is all about relationships!
